Cringe-Worthy Mouse Buying Advice (rant warning)

Does it bother you guys as much as it bothers me when people give out advice on buying a new mouse, but they completely ignore one of the most important factors when deciding which mouse to buy?

What I'm talking about is shape. If you're not comfortable holding it, you're probably not going to play as well with it.

On YouTube (go figure) I saw someone ask if they should get the G502 or G303 and what the differences are. The person who replied to them basically said that the only difference was that the G303 has less features. Uhhhhhh WAT? Did you even look at the mouse? They're shaped completely different. Sure, they use the same sensor, same thick braided cable, same switches, and the G303 is missing the free-scroll wheel and has less buttons, but they're made for completely different grip styles. I own both and personally I hate the G502, but I love the G303. You can compare numbers and features all you want, but none of that matters if you aren't comfortable holding it.

Sorry, I just had to let it out.

Shape is the only thing i look at when buying a mouse. Thats why i still use the same "Genius Netscroll 120" from 2005, lol. It's comfy, who cares.

I have a Logitech G600 because I needed the buttons but the Razer Naga feels like crap to me. I know some people who like that thing, I do not.
For people looking for a good mice: Try them in a store. Same for keyboards.

Agreed, I can only use an oldschool intelli mouse I have massive hands, but when Logan did a review for the first Zowie mouse a few years back I was sold and ordered an EC1 Evo on the spot. "best mouse" is a relative term but if you got big ass hands Zowie is the way to go.
