I have looked on most websites and even the Creative website. I was wondering does this card have "Crystalizer" for MP3s?

One of their top cards and according to their website it doesn't even have it

I don't really game much I do listen to a lot of music though. So would you recommend "Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme Music" instead?


Also my motherboard is a 790FX Chipset so I have 4 PCIe 2.0 x16 slots and not a single PCIe x1 slot.

Will the x1 sound card fit and run perfectly in the x16 slot?

Yes, the 16x slot will take anything that fits in it.... WARNING, I just upgraded from both of those products (Fatal1ty Pro). MVPs do not work properly with 4 DIMMs and will most likely bug out on you. By using only 2 gigs and and taking that sound card out of the MVP you will run much more stable and I think the sound card's drivers have a big issue with vista. When I was running a 4x1 GB config with the pro series sound card. I would get 7 BSODs in one day. Both my card and board are being sold locally for 80 bucks each. The Auzen Prelude is so much better, if you have the money of course
