I love to play BF4 a lot and i was thinking about creating maybe an announcer “plugin” of somekind.
Like maybe when you get a headshot it plays a sound file (mp3 or so) with “HEADSHOT!!1!”.
Or when you get a kill it triggers your keyboard shortcut for your recording software to only capture the kill footage, like ReLive.
Now i found the TRN battlefield api however i-am afraid that because it looks at the BF stats page it won’t be realtime.
otherwise it works really wel.
Is the stats page being processed in batches? like at the end of a round or in realtime?
If it’s not realtime what way is there to get some “realtime” information is there a way to hook into the game? sniff some packets? any other ideas?
i know some html, css, javascript, php, and some more here and there.
