so my idea would to use the vapor chamber that comes with the reference 290 card as it is very efficient at removing heat but the support thermal material (the aluminum fin stack) is not adequate. so what i plan to do is cut away a portion of the shroud so i can install one of the waterblocks from my corsair h60 aio watercooler on top of that finstack to soak up the excess heat.
then use my 2 left over corsair h55 aio coolers on a Peltier plate, maybe say 250watts worth to cool the other two rads in a cool, hot, hottest config.
Heres the problem, a radaitor can only displace so much heat with the flowrate of these pumps the peltier wont chill the air enough to make a large enough difference. If you really want to go crazy get a 150w or 175 w peltier , affix the cold side to your gpu and hot the h60. use foam to insulate the hot waterbloack from gpu. You will be able to get down to -20c on the die. You will need insulation to battle condensation and proper power.
Crazy stupid indeed. You are better of getting the Kraken G10 GPU bracket and mounting the water cooler to the card. And don't even bother with the TEC.
It is just a bracket. Knocking 30 degrees off my load temps on my gpu, left me pretty happy. It's a little pricey for just a cheap fan and a bracket but i would hardly call it poop.:)~
