is ist worth waiting for the Ivybridge Ex CPUs? Or schould i just take the sandybridge ex CPU? I have a decent pc and want to reconfigure it to a Server and before that ill need a new gaming rig for about 5000 Euros
Thats a lot of money for a gaming pc, and there will always be something better just over the horizon
Don't spend that much on a computer. You could spend half as much for an equally good computer with custom watercooling. However, if you want to go for a 5000 euro ultimate machine, this is what I came up with: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/FMi7
2x 6GB GTX Titans, 32GB DDR3 2400mHz, insane watercooling (2x 480mm rads with Noctua NF F12s in push-pull), one of the best cases on the market, etc.
This machine would murder practically everything in everyway, but unless you are made of money that you can just throw everywhere, then a $2500 machine would work just as well.
