ok i was having trouble figuring out my cpu temperature as
when ever i play any game my pc starts beeping as it thinks my cpu on 80 C and above
but then i tri ed different software and i am shocked so which temperatures are correct after all ?

and yeah it is a fx8350 with stock cooler
and room temperature is 33 C
For some reason, AMD CPUs tend to register cooler temps than they are actually experiencing. A new cooler is prolly in order, the AMD stock coolers are junk.

The package temp isent the cpu temp its more of the hotest module temp

I find that hardware monitor has the most accurate temps.
I've been looking at my temps a lot lately as my GPU randomly spiked to 55c whilst idle
Freaked me out a bit
But now it's sitting comfortably at ~40c (with 3 monitors)
My gpu temp was 50c there becase i was watching a 1080p movie on a old HD 5450 (pasive cooled heatsink)
I am still waiting for my HD 7870 xt to arive (amazon sent me a dead card then sent the same one back to me lol so i am waiting for a refund at the moment)
It isn't unusual to see an 8350 jump up to 80+ in game, because the stock coolers are absolute junk.
I had the exact same problem until I installed watercooling.
