my CPU is a FX-8320 it is running 25-30c idle and 60c under 100% load all cores not OC in any way.
Ya, its pretty average. I am guessing with the stock heatsink?
I've heard that FX chips or perhaps the 970/990 motherboards (not sure which is to blame) don't always report temperatures right. If I recall correctly the coretemp application typically reports much lower temperature than accurate for FX chips while hwmonitor overestimates just a tad, so people generally take an average between them or use the higher estimate just to be safe. I don't personally own one so take what I say with a grain of salt, just what I've heard
