Cpu, mobo and psu for 80$ tops

Need to get a Cpu, mobo and psu for 80$ tops, needs to run win 8 or 10(preferbaly) its for my dad and he only checks email and stuff, im reusing parts from his single core rig, probably amd quad core is a possible cpu, needs to last a few more years, sorry for rush, really stressed with everything in life right now

Well, $100 is probably the minimum you'll want to spend for a quad core AM1 rig.

You could also just get a cheap windows tablet or something

It might be worth it to get something in the nuc form factor (though an intel nuc is expensive but I was think about the asrock one) or an intel compute stick

If you're gonna go with really cheap components it might just be a better idea to get a linux distro tbh.

Won't have the overhead of a windows build, will be up-to-date compared to win8 and linux is pretty damn nifty for web browsing. Might need to install chrome if he uses things like Netflix or anything like that, but that's not really that big of a deal.

Otherwise the rasberrypi 3 sounds like the only thing that's going to fall under the price range tbh, which wouldn't be a terrible idea actually. You would save quite a bit of money on electricity as well.

Buy a used machine.....

Seriously just pick up something used on ebay
