Cpu help!

Hi guys, 

 

I recently bought an SSD (Samsung 840 EVO 120gb) and everything went well. The installation of the OS and all of my programs and my games. So I wanted to play Battlefield 4 but I noticed my FPS wasn't what it used to be. So I checked the task manager and I saw I only had one cpu core running. I double checked in this program called CoreTemp for checking your CPU Temp and it also said that I had just one core running. Now my question is how can I turn the other cores again?

ps. I have a intel core i5 3570K and a MSI z77a-G45 motherboard.

Some motherboard BIOSes allow CPU cores to be disabled. Check that you have all cores active in the BIOS.

Also, sometimes some of your CPU cores will become PARKED. you can go into task manager and look at all your cores individually and see if they report as PARKED. You can unpark them via some simple registry changes.

But first you need to identify the situation you're in.
