CPU fan error?

Hi, I am building my first PC and had everything going smooth. So I guess this had to happen for reasons unknown. When I boot up my PC, it goes up and then tells me that the CPU fan is having an error. I cracked it open and saw nothing wrong with cabling or anything. The fan was going like a tank and spinning (as far as I know) fine. So I was wondering if this is just a fake error or if it seriously needs to be taken care of. I don't want my first build to go up in smoke so I cam here for help. The CPU is an AMD FX-series 4130 and I am using the stock fan. Any help will be much appreciated.

You may have plugged the CPU fan into the wrond plug. Make sure it isn't a chassis fan plug, or even a CPU optional fan plug.

Yeah thank you. I guess that's what it was. I had the plug in one labeled CHA_FAN2 and not the CPU plug. I guess this made the fan turn on but made the computer think that there wasn't a fan. Thank you.
