I've seen something similar done with zipties  but a more low profile cooler.

makes me wonder how you can cool the ram with similar success..

do you thing hardware manufacturers would ever support this somehow, I really like the idea of picking my own cooler for my gpu.

Isnt the lack of cooling on the RAM a problem?
