Ok so I just set up my new PC and it has a 4770 and a H60 cooler, I plugged in the fan and the pump but it must not be pumping because the CPU says its running at 126 degrees and starts to make noises when I open stuff. What should I do?
put on the stock cooler, if it works fine replace the h60, if it doesn't replace the board or wire whatever cooler straight to the psu
and for the love of god don't use it if it's acting like that, really it should be shutting itself off arround 105
I assume it's 126 F and not Celsius. Which is quite normal for that cooler... it's about 52''C
Is this in good temp (C) or bad temp(F)?
wenn a cpu would realy hit 126 degrees celcius, it would allready be died.
So its probably Farenheit, But you could try the stock cooler, to see what temsp you get then. but 126 celcius doesn´t seen correct to me, could also be a faulty temp sensor by the way!
Depends what CPU you have. A 74xx chip can go to MAXIMUM of 200C safely. If any X86 chip was at 200C, it would destroy itself.
I think it's farenheit and the noises the "CPU" makes is the pump, that ramps up, because the temp is increasing by 2 to 4 deegrees, when applications are opened. It might sound like the CPU, but the pumps are mounted into the socket of the H60, so no biggie.
It has to be in Farenheit. Can you confirm its in F?
