Cox router and VOIP replacement

Hi all,

I’m normally good at solving this kind of stuff but Cox sucks

My uncle just recently got cox but they are charging a monthly fee for the router, normally I would be able to reccomend a replacement however the cox router is also a VOIP and I can’t find a router that has a VOIP built in that would work Cox. If you could reccomend a replacement that would solve this that would be great thanks!

Also if your recommendation could be sub $100 that would be awesome but if that’s not possible just let me know

if you need a MODEM... not a router, which is what I assume you meant... this is the lower tier of the best one on the market (which will much more than max out any speed you pay for I assure you)

If you actually needed a router... I'd recommend the TP Link Archer C7 (<--- your price range), Asus AC68U, and Netgear Nighthawk x6

and to hell with Cox VOIP.... just never pay for home phone ever again with this thing... you'll make the cost back in what? 6-9 months?

So I actually need a mode, router, and a phone out in one if that makes sense

So I would be looking for a replacement for something like this is that even possible in a sub $150?
