Cox doubling internet speeds

I came home from work about 2 weeks ago and it felt like my internet was faster. After hard wiring to my router (I do power line networking) I found that my speeds where doubled! I received an email form them saying this was going to happen, but I was not expecting it to come to where I live this fast.

 

I am getting about 121 down and 5.5 up when hard wire. As well as 37 down and 5.6 up though power ine. 

 

I am not saying that Cox is the best ISP out there, but better then the "competition".

Cox cable is quite a good ISP when you consider that they're a big company. They doubled mine here in Las Vegas.  I'm quite happy, and they have a good competitive price to performance at least in my area.  Also they don't give issues with VPN as century link did with me.  Century Link actually gave me a call telling me that my internet connection was doing weird things and that they had to suspend my service until they figured out what was happening.  Cox cable doesn't give me a single issue and doesn't even care what i do with my connection.
