I already have a beta for the game, (I think I got it back in April or so from filling out a survey.) and when I go to buy it, I get a notice in my cart saying "You already own the following items in "Counter-Strike: Global Offensive". You will not receive extra copies of these items when you complete this purchase:

  • Counter-Strike: Global Offensive"

Does that just mean I won't get an extra copy of the beta, or what??

I didn't have this problem and I was in early beta, you could try contacting steam but the game may be out by the time they get back to you.
