Counter-Strike:Gloabal Offensive pc

Budget:700$ USD

Purpose: To play CS:GO at the highest frame-rate possible, willing to sacrifice all!

Usage: I will be using this PC to play Counter-Strike:Global offensive at a Competitive Level

Storage: 120GB SSD is all i need for storage at the moment

GPU: A nvidia GPU because i like the geforce experience Suite! to record!

I already have windows 8. and i need no peripherals

Please read this and answer all the questions that you can on it.

Little hard to help you if we know nothing but two things you want.

120GB is indeed pretty small.  Windows takes up like 40-50gigs.

Might want to look into an aftermarket CPU cooler if you care about noise.

CS:GO will run on a potato, there's really no need to build an entire new PC just to play it. Just slap a 750ti or higher in your current machine and you'll get FPS well above the refresh rate of the best monitors.

Haha when I read the title of the thread I came in to write that it could be run on simple chips such as Doritos, but you beat me to it.

Additionally, the 750ti can run capably on the power supplied by a motherboard. There's no need for the additional 6 pin. So it's a very good, cheap option. It won't require a power supply upgrade.

Here's my suggestion: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/3LDze

i5+gtx760+240gb SSD, can't go wrong with this build. And how the fuck windows can take 40-50GB's? I did a clean install it took just over 20. With all luxury programs few gigs more. CS:GO takes less than 7gigs.

I can run CS:GO, LoL, and Diablo 3 on the Intel HD 4600 iGPU. I would put as much money into the processor, motherboard, ram & SSD as possible and buy a graphics card for more demanding games when you play them in the future. Thats what I did! :)

I play at a highly competitive level, i am a global elite and i play in high level esea tournaments, require more then playable framerate, my goal is about 300 fps, a 750ti will not achive that!

750ti will and the fps in CS is kind of random I have an i7 and a 7950 and I still drop to like 150fps sometimes for no reason really and CS can only take advantage of like 25% of my cpu and like 50% of my gpu.

How are you going to see 300FPS when the highest refresh rate of any monitor is like... 144Hz? That's a maximum of 144 FPS that can be viewed on a modern panel.

The 7770GHz can achieve 100 FPS on CS. The game doesn't take anything to run. It's not demanding at all. The 750TI can run BF4 multiplayer on high settings 1080p. BF4 is much more demanding by comparison.

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/3LNRZ I choose to go for the Fx-8320 and Gtx 760 because the Fx-8320 is going to be a better editor (I noticed you said Nvidia for recording and recording means editing) :)

When playing on a competitive level like i do it does not come down to the Hz to frame rate argument you are giving. When playing on a 128 tick server, 20 ping, your computer updates extremely fast, so having more frames gives you a great advantage over someone who has the same frames as their Hz. What im trying to say is 300 fps is not for the eyes, but its for the aim!

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/3LO4G Or if you want max frame rates on cs go and nothing else, here you go.

...what

Indeed. I am not a competitive player but i am very inclined to say that 300s will do jack all for you aim if you cannot display it. I understand you will be playing on super low latency servers but if you are running LAN 20ms seems slightly high. I get 32 to central servers from my house over not great broadband.

That and just because someone else can run it faster than you does not make a difference to the network speed you receive the information at. You will not be recieving someone else's game at beyond 300fps, that it not how it works.

I also have what i would call an exactly average PC. An FX6100 and a 7870 with the game on spinning rust drives and I can still play it at beyond 100fps, not that I can display that.

Update: Newegg's shipped the motherboard friday morning. I'm going to get the CPU within the next couple of days. I also pre-ordered the Phanteks Enthoo Pro, which will arrive on around 22nd; at least that's what their website indicates.

Parts left to but: Keyboard, monitor, cam, mic, and the OS. Since I already have a functional keyboard and an LCD, I'll buy them sometime the first week of the next month along with the cam and the mic; then it's Youtube time!

I'm passing my instagram page, which has crappy pics of the components I got so far, I'll post high resolution pics when I get a hold of the case, the motherboard and the CPU.

Thanks a bunch!

Buddy, I think you're in the wrong thread.

This is one of the funniest things I have read in a long time.

lololol.
