Corsair SP2500 best speaker for me?

I am thinking of spending around £150. I would like a non-surround sound setup. And, I want high quality sound. That's it! :)

 

 

Any recommendations?

Honestly, listen to a set before purchase if at all possible.  I personally think that they are overpriced manure.  but thats just my PERSONAL opinion. 

For that kind of money I would look at a set of SOLO7C speakers (They are freakin HUGE though) I love mine!

Would you recommend these for a desktop PC style layout?

Yes - that is how i use mine - But bear in mind you need a HUGE ASS DESK!!!!

How big is that? My desk is around 5feet wide. Not enough? Bearing in mind, that I'll put the speakers on each end of the desk.
