I want to know from you guys because you know more on the topic than I do, if its viable to buy a refurbished PSU?

ALSO I AM PLANING ON BUYING AN R9 290X IS THIS PSU GOOD FOR THAT GPU?

I don't see why a refurbished psu wouldn't be a viable option, it should save some $ as well.

That power supply will work well with that card.
