Corsair pre-applied paste. Anyone else notice poor performance?

Previously, I had complained on here about hot temps using a H100i while gaming. I suspected that the stock thermal paste pre-applied on the block was at fault. And I was right.

After replacing the paste on my CPU with Tuniq TX-4, my temps have lowered by more than 20c while gaming. I'm dead serious... Previous temps would sit around 68c with peaks up to 75c. Now with the new paste, my temp maxed out at 46c.

Either my experience is a one off occurrence, or the pre-applied paste is just trash.

Arctic Silver for life. 'nuff said

paste is paste, it doenst gonne make a whole lot of sense basicly, as long as you mount everything correctly.

i allways recommend something like Noctua NT-H1 or something similar.

Thermal paste only makes maybe at most 5C of difference. A reviewer even showed how Mayonnaise and Tooth Paste can work as TIM.
