Corsair K60 or Coolermaster Quickfire TK

Hey guys.

I have a couple of options for keyboards and I need your help!

Corsair K60 (Cherry MX Red)

Coolermaster Quickfire TK (Cherry Brown or Blue)

I've had experience with MX Blacks but I'm not sure what to get.

I'm a fast typer (115 WPM with laptop keyboard) and a heavy FPS player. So I'm stuck between what one I should get because I was told the MX Red isn't good for typing and the MX Blue isn't good for FPS. The MX Brown I'm unsure. Thanks!

Honestly, it's a matter of preference. Blues are good for typing but you can still game with them. People are just preference opinionated about blue switches being bad for FPS and they really aren't. It all comes down to end user feel. I have used my Coolermaster Quickfire TK Blue switches keyboard for a couple of FPS games and I've never had a problem with the keys while playing an FPS.

Browns are middle ground between reds and blues. They all have same actuation force, blues have click on actuation and tactile bump, browns only have bump and reds are linear, just like blacks.

I don't think that switch type matters for FPS because those are not keyboard-heavy games so you can get whatever feels better for typing. Although you will be typing faster than on chiclet/rubber dome with any kind of mechanical keyboard.

Only a few games such as osu! (and generally rhythm games) and Touhou really benefit from linear switches.
