Corsair 750D (Or Air 540)

I am looking to build this: http://pcpartpicker.com/user/agduffy6/saved/chRzK8

And there are 2 cases I'm looking at, the Corsair 750D (this is the one I'm leaning towards ATM) and the Corsair Air 540. I love the looks of both and i was just wondering what y'all thought.

Also does anyone know about possible issues with the 750D and the front panel not letting in enough air for the front fans?

EDIT: Put 500D instead of 750D

Do you want the tower to be on top of the desk or underneath it? 

In reference to the 750D's airflow, it has a stealth cover in the front, so the airflow will not be be as good as an open design like the 540. However, open designs tend to be louder. 

So you the decision comes down to the question of which case will be the best fit (Physically), and do you like a silent case or a performance oriented one.

I think I'm gonna be putting on top of my desk because my room is carpet and can get quite dusty, I'm fine with it being a silent case, i just wanted to know whether the silence would hinder it's performance too much and i would have to always have the front panel off
