Cooling Question

I just put togehter a new gaming rig. I am gonna install the Antec Kohler 920 Liquid Cooling System. to keep my FX 8350 running cool.

The thing is, I am not sure about temps on this cpu. What Temp should I set to kick liquid cooler into high gear??

While In time I will overclock my CPU just for fun, even leave it overclocked for a couple of weeks, I won't leave it that way. The way I use my computer, overclocking will offer no benifits.

I realize that liquid cooling on the cpu at stock speeds is a bit of overkill, but just not a fan of the new air coolers, no desire to have someting so big haning off my motherboard. Thats just me. I also THINK, in the future, liquid cooling will become the norm, but thats just a guess.

Always like the Antec Kohler 920.

well if you will run it at stock speeds at all times put the fans on the lowest setting and forget it

If you overclock then i'd say 160-180 is a good time to kick em into high.

Just realize the the 920 isn't a great water cooler

160-180, That's way too high and, not using celcius. Pleb. 60c is when you should kick it in to high gear.
