Cooling Fx-9590 w/o Liquid Cooling

I want to know if its possible for me to cool my cpu (fx-9590) with something like this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835608018

or some other air cooler similar, preferably with as little maitanance as possible

Here's my spec if needed: http://pcpartpicker.com/user/AerialDarkguy/saved/3DlK

(yes im aware link its missing a cooler, i took it out while im trying to replace it)

That noctua will be a good cooler for your fx9590

Oh i almost forgot its  a gaming rig, I'm also wondering whether it would cool it both idle and in use during game (not for running prime95 for a week)

then the best you would have to get is a NH-D14 or an NH-D15 by Noctua, they are the best CPU coolers that you can get that have equal or better performance than some water coolers.

I see, thank you for your recommendations raging and Kat

Yeah the Noctuas are beasts and to get anything better you need to go with something like an NZXT Kraken X60 or a custom loop.

Or the Phanteks PH-TC14PE. which is slightly better then the NH-D14.

Also you could grab the phanteks in diffrent colors. i got the red version for my FX8350. The heat sinks are realy nice metallic painted.
