Cooler Master D92 size

I am going to get a Cooler Master D92 sometime soon cause the Hyper 212 EVO Barely fits onto my case by having the heatpipes stick out and having issues with the side panel which i did not like eventually replaced it with my stock heatsink that came with the Xeon 1231v3. I was just wondering how tall is it compared to the 212 EVO because I want to keep the cpu cool and and water cooling is not an option. My case is a Cougar Spike

ps. I was just checking the difference between the stock intel heatsink and my 212 evo with 2 NZXT fans I had on it in pushing air towards the back case fan and it was phenomenal. With the 212 EVO even on the silent fan setting it only reached up 70c happily sitting there while the stock coolers shot up to 90 and had to stop the the test after a minute or two using Prime95

Over here, in a review for your case, they used a Thermalright Ultra 120, which is 160.5mm tall. (Source)
The 212 EVO is 159mm tall... You sure you know what case/heatsink you have?

Anyway, even if it is causing you problems for some reason, the CM D92 is 5.7"(14.478cm) tall (Source), which is like almost a whole 1.5 cm shorter than the 212 EVO - so you shouldn't have a problem with it.

There's nothing wrong with grabbing a ruler and measuring it out yourself irl though, just don't poke things.

Alternatively, the Thermalright True Spirit 120M hast he cooling performance of the Hyper 212 EVO, but is only 145mm tall, I do believe. The Thermalright Macho 120 is 150mm, but may perform slightly better.
