Cool things to do with my OnePlus?

So my OnePlus should be in any day now, I was wondering what cool things you guys have done with yours.

I have never had the pleasure of having a phone this powerful (64GB of storage! coming from using an iPhone 4S for 3 years) and really don't know what to do. What utility apps are must-haves? I've heard of some wi-fi sniffer useful for IT work but don't remember what it's called.

What emulators can I run on it? Does it come with root access? Are there better 3rd-party alternatives to some of the default apps?

Previous phones I've used have all been too bad to use for productivity (my 4S is slow, low-res, and it's quicker and easier to just get on my desktop to do things as basic as checking email). So I never really got to take advantage of the benefits of smartphones other than texting and listening to music on them.

I'm also aware that the OnePlus has a pretty badass camera.

OnePlus is cool. A new phone may not have battery problems but Android system is more likely to get laggy if you don't take care of the background.

I have a Nexus 5 personally but I'm bothered by android battery problems. Our team develop the below free app. I think it perfectly solves my problems. You can also give it a shot if you like:

I believe that's the app you're thinking of, i used it during my Cert 4 networking course.

Cool things starts when you root your phone. From there you can:

1. Flash custom ROM and have features that are not available to stock ROM (eg. halo, peek notifications, head up notification, etc)

2. Install Tasker (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.dinglisch.android.taskerm&hl=en)

3. From Tasker, the possibilities are infinite. What i did with Tasker includes, auto gps launch on selected apps, bluetooth turn on when i'm away from home (cell tower activation), auto silent certain time of the day, etc. It is limited by your imagination, literally.

I rooted mine and use droiddrive to install/run Linux on various machines. Havnt had it too long but its crazy awesome so far.
