A few times I tried to go back into the game, I even recorded some development, so I made some progress…
Some time ago my parents hard drive died. Being the one PC guy in the family I got one of my hard drives out, saved the more important stuff from it, formated, installed it on their PC… Yesterday I noticed I haven’t moved the game files before I formated the drive.

So the game is basically gone.
I can sit down and recreate it completely from scratch, bit honestly, I think it will be better if I start again. I can solve a lot of problems I had in the development process early before they become problems and also change some things…
Or I may start a completely different project with lower complexity… .

Sorry to hear about the loss of your project, but it sounds like there’s a silver lining.

Well, I tried to go back to it and push it a bit further. That’s how I found out it was gone…
I kinda feel bad, cause I spend quite some time planning and researching and coding… But I learned and the next one would be easier and faster…
