for one straight year it pulled alright, how could it go bad in one day :(
No idea, sucks that its a laptop. The only other thing it could be is ram, run memtest 86+ to be sure.

If you still get a BSOD, uninstall the driver completely and try reinstalling the version from the Acer site for your laptop.
