I have wanted to build a gaming PC for awhile and finally have some money to play with. I would like to be able to play games such as BF3 and upcoming FPS/MMO games.

 

  • Budget. How much are you willing to spend? 500-600
  • Where do you live (what country),  and what currency do you use? USA
  •   -Is there a retailer you prefer? Using my Amazon prime is always nice.
  • Do you need or already have peripherals? (this can add to costs) yes
  • What will you be using your future computer for? Gaming? All gaming
  • Rendering? Mix of both? Or is this a home media PC? 
  • Do you overclock or want to get into overclocking? yes
  • Do you plan on going for custom watercooling now, or in the future?
  • OS. Do you need a new one? No
  • Do you plan on Mining BTC either for yourself or Tek Syndicate?

If you Game-

  • What kind of settings do you like or what FPS do you want to play at?
  • What resolution will you be playing at? 1080p
  • What kind of games do you like to play? FPS/MMO
  • What specific game will you be playing (if applicable) Bf3 and other fps

Assuming you don't need an OS, this Is what I would recommend for around $500, if you can't come up with the extra $25, you can knock the RAM down to 4gb without much of a performance loss.

First question where do you live and what site do you plan on buying from?

Looks solid budget build. But only 1gb vram on the GPU? I would consider a 200 dollar 7950.

Using Amazon prime is always nice for the shipping, but no preference on where to buy from really.
