Hi all! Is it ok to connect the radiator’s fans to CPU FAN header and the pump to CPU OPT while keeping the pwm/dc mode in the bios to Auto? It seemed the most reasonble thing to do hoping that the motherboard is smart enough to recognize the pwm fans and the dc pump, although I noticed that if I select PWM mode the fans go faster and the pump seems slower. Any advice?

If you can select PWM or DC on a per header basis: 4-pin Fans get PWM (that is what the 4th pin does), and select DC for 3 pin devices (your pump if I understood you correctly).

Yes but the thing is: cpu fan and cpu opt share the same setting in the bios and if I connect the pump to a chassis fan header and select DC mode it still runs slower even if I choose turbo mode, while like I have now the pump runs ok while the fans are too slow.
