Computer won't start at all? HELP!

Hi all, basicly my PC won't turn on. I was playing titanfall and went downstairs for something, when I returned my PC was off??? I restarted it and it launched into system repair. Nothing happened. The second time system repair was launched it took much longer so I went out for an hour or so. Then I returned my PC was off and now it won't turn on. It does real very walm through. Has it over heated or crashed???

Thanks

Yup sounds like it, he could try to take it out and jump it, see if there is any life.

Grab a voltmeter (if you dont have one get one they are vidal to troubleshooting any electronics). Check the wall voltage, then out of the ups, and then check the psu rails. Work your way back it could be a number of things like the mobo, a bad connector, or spliced wire etc. If you don't know how to use one tube it.

Unplug everything from the PSU, jump it and see if it turns on. If it doesn't turn on (I.e. the fan doesn't start spinning) then you will need to RMA. If it does turn on and you have a multimeter, I would recommend checking voltages (you don't have to but its good practice to do so).

Also to jump your power supply, use a wire and on the 24 pin jump the pins shown in the diagram below

Great Illustration what about the triple lindy jump? jk. A side note not all psu fans spin at start up (mine never spins at all) so checking the voltages on all rails would be the best solution. You can also just buy another psu to test but why take the easy road and not learn anything :)
