Computer won't load past bios screen

Hey not really sure if this is the right place to ask for help so sorry if it's the wrong place. Anyway today my keyboard (corsair k70) was playing up with the backlighting started to flicker and the keyboard stopped working so I decided to change around which USB slots I put the 2 connecting USB cables. However this did nothing so I turned the computer off and tried to use the keyboard on another computer and it worked fine so not sure what that means.( btw it was plugged directly to the motherboard and on case USB slots) Then it started to get really weird because the next time I tried to boot my computer it took ageeeees to get past the bios screen and then when I got to putting in my password the it suddenly went to a windows has been stopped because something was dangerous apparently (sorry not very descriptive the screen was only on for about 5 seconds) and then it restarted and after it goes past bios it is stuck on a black screen with a white bar flashing at the top left.

sorry this is so long but I wanted to ad everything in so I can fix it.

cheers for any help

Does your PC make any specific beeps or out of the ordinary noises when you turn it on?

Can you get into the BIOS, and does it have a temperature monitor built into it?

Your motherboard may be going out, or CPU is overheating and dying. It sounds like a hardware issue. You could try re-seating the RAM, but that probably isn't the cause. Just speculation atm.
