Computer won't boot [SOLVED]

I don't know what happened. After my sis played Sims 3 and turned the computer off, I was unable to boot. I could turn the computer on and there's a beep, the usual ones you hear after booting, but it just won't show up on the screen. The cables are alright, I've tested them on different devices (though somehow HDMI doesn't work on any of my computers regardless what screen I use, but that's a different story). I've tried turning it without anything plugged in just to see if I can get into the bios, but still no hope. I've disassembeled everything, made sure that every cable, every jumper, every damn piece of matter that is vissible to me is still intact. I have only updated any software within the last 7 days (when 13.8 came out). There are various codes that my mobo posts. AE, AB, 19,20,21 are the most common. My friend suspects that it's the motherboard, but 'till now I'm not even sure what could be the problem. Anyone willing to help and require more information would be given what is needed.

Please, I can't stand this vacation doing nothing X-|

p.s: I think there should be a Troubleshooting section so people would know exactly where to put this since I don't see this fitting in any particular place at the moment, so pardon me for putting it in the wrong place.

the usual troubleshooting

run with only 1 RAM in 1st slot

clear the CMOS

does you mobo come with onboard video out?

Done that

Done that

and it doesn't :/

edit

saw your profile

biostar TA990fxe

hmm you got another PC to test the GPU?

We "do" need a Troubleshooting section but under a proper name.

Not yet, I'll probably be using my friend's PC to test that. I'll have a follow up after I've done that

"Fix-it or Switch-it"

That'll be a splendid name for that section

borrow your friends computer to test all the parts other than the mobo to rule out any faulty components

if they do work fine on the other PC then we can be certain the mobo is dead

my friend did mentioned before Biostar do fail quite badly, it no wonder BioStar rhyme with BS

Would flashing the BIOS do any good?

refer to you manual to see if you could go into BISO recovery

if that fail your mobo is a goner

I would get it back to the store where I bought it, but I have to wait the the holliday's over

AND THE NEWS IS HERE. Turns out it was the GPU all along. My motherboard, even though it had failed on me before, is doing just fine. Now while I'm waiting for a replacement, which takes a month to get here, I'm using a 4850! That is all, good night
