Computer went don broke

Alright so I have a asus sabertooth am3+ motherboard with a amd fx 8320 and g skill sniper ran. I was doing some hardcore war thunder flying and my internet died and I hit my computer really hard and then it turned off and now it wont turn on again. I took it apart and the cpu came out the socket really easy and looks like its flexed a bit.  I pulled the CPU out and fought with that till its trouble light went off and then the DRAM started acting up then I tried the memok button and that didn't work. so now I dont know what to do, the dam DRAM light is on.

Sounds like you fried some stuff...

If you didn't unplug the power supply from the outlet (110VAC) then it's almost a sure thing that you fried your CPU and possibly other components like your RAM or possibly even an expansion card or two (like a video card) when you went to re-socket or plug that stuff back in.

It's especially troubling to hear that the CPU came out without any physical resistance since there should be a lever on the CPU socket that locks it in. And if you don't lock the CPU in place it may wiggle around or simply not make all the necessary contacts that it needs which is like a death sentence! No smoke or flames but the results are no less just as effective/permanent.

And then there's it issue of the power supply which is very likely STILL ON! You should know that all ATX/ITX/(variant)-type power supplies provide a constant 5 volt signal so long as it's plugged into a live outlet (power strip, UPS, whatever). The computer may look like it's off with no fans spinning, no lights, etc., but that 5 volts is still there and it's just enough to fry things like a CPU, RAM or even a video card when they are inserted/extracted. (Though the possibility of frying an expansion card is a bit harder to do.)

So if you're digging around inside your PC when any of it's lights are on or hit it with enough force to cause things to pop out while it's running, I can say with a certain degree of confidence that you fried some stuff. Sorry for the bad news.

well first of all why would you hit your computer?

anyway, do the case fans and cpu fan spin wenn you hit the power button? put back in your cpu.

War Thunder. Not even once.
