Computer ideas, any futher recommendations?

after watching Tek Syndicate's video if the $700 Gaming PC, i started to look around for things and this is what ive been ending up with:

AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition

MSI H61M-P20 (G3)

(4X4GB) G.Skill RipjawsX F3-10666CL7Q-16GBXH

Samsung Spinpoint F3 HD103SJ, 1TB

HIS Radeon HD 7870 2GB Video Card

MSI TC- (Black)

NZXT Hale82 80 Plus Bronze ATX 650W.

Any futher recommendations?

first off, Hi!!

the motherboard you have chosen is intel so an amd processor will not work with it.

also 8 GB of ram will be fine. i would follow logans build but sub in a 500 or 750GB 7200rpm mechanical drive unless you have one laying around and it will save you a little money.

oh and you forgot an optical drive.

it is really fun to mix and match the parts so enjoy and keep learning (i am!)

getting a hdd smaller than 1tb will only save you like $5 so its not really worth it

This is better for the money:

With rebates it hits under $650, if you wanted you could chock it up to a HD 7950, or put another $15 for a 1TB drive instead.

i was talking save money HDD vs SSD not the size

my dad has a optical drive laying around somewhere for me :)

actually, i'd love to have a 1tb drive for "normal" use and a very small (15gb) SSD

is it better with everything? or just some parts of it?
