that's it! thankyou so much if you help I really apreciate it.

I would highly recommend getting a cheaper mobo and put the around $100 you save into the graphics card also you should probably get a 1TB hard drive because if you play a lot of modern games 320GB won't last long.  What's your budget?

whats your budget? do you plan on over clocking?

L0l I'd get an 8350 over the i5. Honestly that argument depends on the games you'll play, but overall I suggest an 8350. On some occasions the i5 CAN kill it, like in Fallout or Skyrim. But that being said, and 8350 can handle those games perfectly fine also. Also that 1155 is going to be dedz soon makes me not suggest anything besides an i7 3820. With the 8350 you also get 8 physical cores. The i5 has 4 and no hyperthreading. 4 Is no doubt enough for current gaming, but the future coming and 4 cores is not a big part of it. Also, 8 cores is fuckin punk rock for streaming and work. Just my look on things doh. You could probably give a fuck less and have already done your studying.

Bump to a gat dang 1Tb hard drive, 320 is enough for a decent amount of time sure, but when it's not...you'd wish you'd have got a 1tb. Also, an SSD is NOT needed. I just don't think there's a very big reason to spend that extra money in this day for an SSD on a gaming machine. They make life a little easier, but I'd put performance shit before them. Add one in later rather than one now! That way if you still feel like you really want one when you actually have it built you can go for it/save money. Remember, adding shit on is more cost effective than replacing shit. Think of it like this. ~Having a 660ti, needing to upgrade for a new game because you didn't put out the money for a 7970, buying a card only 2 tiers above, and having a 660ti to either sell for 2/3 what you paid, or have laying around.~ THEN, ~Having all the performance you want, adding some snappiness by throwing an SSD in~

Don't spend that money on a fucking Sabertooth. Those overclocking features really won't mean jack shit consider you didn't even choose an aftermarket cooler l0l. But, if overclocking is NOT your cup of tea..spend like 120-140. That way, you'll have more than enough features to overclock if you eventually do feel confident enough for it. Also, even if not overclocking buy a cheap aftermarket cooler. Anything will be better than the stock one, just spend like 20$+ and you'll get a way nicer quality cooler. Most suggested ones are Cooler Master's 212 series ones. I personally like NZXT's kinda copy version, T20 and T40. Not really copy I guess, I mean it's a common design.

Is this the PSU you're looking at? http://www.corsair.com/us/power-supply-units/cx-series-psu.html Seems good for your price point actually. And is super cheap.

For the RAM, just go for whatever 2x8GB 1600/1866 Latency 9 RAM that's cheapest. Vengance is fine, just a tip for ram I guess l0l. I just assumed you went outta your way to pick the corsair. Really, they're all pretty much the same besides the heatsinks, and that doesn't even really matter at those speeds.

I vote these changes.

8350 + Gigabyte UD3 990FX motherboard.

No SSD, Seagate barracuda 1Tb.

7970 GPU.

You should feel blessed I haven't typed much today. I'd have never felt like doing this any other day ever.

my budget is around $1500 but that means I need to get a monitor and accesories as well. I do plan on overclocking a little but nothing crazy
