Computer build for $1100

So i have $600 for amazon and $500 of my own money currently have a pc i built back in 2012 with hd7870 amd phenom II 4 965 and corsair vengeance 4gbx2. Im not an expert at this stuff but know how to build a computer I want to be able to game on it with best settings possible would be awesome to get 4k but I dont think thats possible with this budget just looking for any builds I could do I definitely need new motherboard because certain ports such as ethernet port have gone on it but if i can salvage some stuff and get to 4k in this budget that would be sweet thanks

Well you could start here, did you also need a monitor and stuff for that budget?

what sort of usage? do you need a screen/s? peripherals? i assume the states?

i have a 1920 x 1080 ips 22" monitor i assume theres no 4k monitors or better than mine i can fit into my budget.

Well I mean ya could, but a decent IPS 4k monitor is about 550, so you'd end up with a PC like this

Which if you wanted to go 4k, the 860K+390 is not a bad option to push for 4k at lower settings

With this, which is 4k IPS and free-sync for $500, only 27"

Personally if I had a thousand bucks I'd do it, but I don't really care too much about having the highest performing PC, either of those builds is going to be fine for gaming, and then you have the screen real estate of 4k, though a 40" 4k monitor is a good deal more usable

i will probably just go with the first build i dont feel i will utilize 4k as much not really any games seem to run at 4k yet

mostly with 4k you just never have to worry about running out of space on your display to put stuff

do you think an fx8350 would bottleneck a 390x if i were to go that route and if not what atx motherboard would be good to go with it
....... btw thanks for all your help so far so many decisions

You'd want a 390, not a 390x, it's not worth the extra 100 bucks or so, but if you overclock the 8350 it'll still pull over 60fps in the majority of games, you'll only run into a bottleneck with something like total war or CoH 2, which not too many people play really

ok then is there any other suggestion for the cpu because im looking to buy the processor through amazon or new egg jus because its easier for me and the one suggested earlier seems to be sold out on both sites

not really, if you're just gaming all you really need is an i5 4460, or 860k if you want to save money

ok sweet thanks for your all your help today
