Computer automatically boots when plugged it. New build using Alienware x51 mobo

I'm building a server using spare parts, one of which is the motherboard from an Alienware x51. The low-profile power supply that came with the Alienware had some sort of sensor wire that ran to the mobo. I don't have that sensor wire plugged in because I'm using a regular PSU. When I boot the unit it says "Alert! Power sensor failure!" or something like that. Some people said to ignore the warning, but that isn't the issue. I haven't seen anyone else say their computer boots as soon as it's plugged in.

This is a common features for a lot of bios which is called boot after power fail. Which means that if you disconnect the power by pulling the cable or a switch between the psu and the socket and then plug it back in it will start itself back up (http://www.technewsworld.com/story/78930.html). I use it to start my computer using a smart switch connected to my phone for example.
