Compute modules for embeded systems

Hello everyone,
I’m currently working on a home automation system based on Home Assistant (https://home-assistant.io/), for an off-grid living solution. I’ve been looking for suitable hardware to run this software and monitoring sensors.

I’ve been looking into Raspberry pi 3 compute module (https://www.raspberrypi.org/products/compute-module-3/) for the job, however the specs are underwhelming for my application. I need something under 15 watts, with at least 4 cores and anything in between 1.2 and 1.8 MHz and support for eMMC.

My plan is to use 2 of said devices for redundancy and load balancing. They would be integrated into a carrier board with power, networking and provisioning capabilities.

Any information or options are very appreciated  <3

I would suggest a couple Pi’s

Well I’m needing something more powerful with a so-dimm for the interface.
