is there a way to completely wipe a phones OS and install a copy of an andriod os i have a fake iphone 5 with an fake os and would like to wipe it and possible install a andriod os onto it
I it's a fake iPhone chances are Android is already on it.
You need to get more info on the hardware though, figure out the exact make and specs of your phone, then browse xda-developers to see if there is an alternative ROM available.
well if its a fake phone i dont know what hardware it's missing or anything. but it's certainly an option to put android on an iphone. generally those fakes ae nothing more than a shell, screen, and a little flash memory to disply something on the screen. if that's what you have there's nothing you can do with it.
Version 5.0.1(9A405)
Model MC6062P
Serial Number C38GVNWMDTCO
and when i boot it up it say vox digital living i cant find anything on them
err, unless you can port it yourself i'm not sure it's available.
Even some official Android phones have lackluster support from devs and hackers, I doubt you'll find anything for your phone. Plus the fact that those Chinese knock-offs are known to run on a crappy hardware to begin with. So even if you did manage to flash Android on it, it will be pretty much unsuable due to extreme lag. For example, I did a quick google search for your model phone, and I found a forum thread where somebody gave a bit more details on their fake iPhone who also wanted to flash Android. That phone has a really slow MediaTek processor - the max frequency for that model was ~230 MHz. Just to give you an idea, my Galaxy Nexus has a much faster processor and a custom kernel but the minimum frequency is set to 200MHz, and it still lags from time to time. So if that's the same phone as yours, any Android version above 2.0 will be worthless. And anything below that is outdated and you might as well use something else. And lastly, there's the issue with the kernel. Even if you could flash Android ROM on your phone, that ROM better come with a custom kernel for that specific model of a phone to interact with the phone's hardware. Otherwise you'll end up with a brick (worst case scenario) or an extremely buggy OS that crashes every time you try to do anything on your phone (best case scenario).
TL/DR: Don't get your hopes up. You're pretty much stuck with your OS.
