So whats the latest with small PFSense router builds? I want something pretty much ready to go, low power, no moving parts, so willing to spend some coin and looking at some Amazon listings that have legit Intel NICs. What do you guys/gals think of the two linked?
I have a 4GB stick of RAM already, and will toss into the order a 32gig HDD. Would 32gig solid state be large enough to run Snort and other additions if I start to go down that path in the future? I also plan to run an OpenVPN server so that I can remote into my network when out.
