We have this for linux, so why not everything else. If you have GPU questions ask them here and hopefully someone will answer them eventually. Maybe THEN that whole !wait or buy" nonsense will stop being 500 thread asking the same thing in a weekend.
So, mine is what is a good comparison chip for an M275X? In ubuntu if I open lshw I get 8870 / M275X / M375X which is neat, but like what is a good chip to compare this thing to? I get around the same FPS in games as my desktop so maybe a 250X? I've only played league nd CSGO and I get 120-150 FPS when the drivers want to behave (though I'm just going to install linux and OSX o I don't have to be bothered with dumbass driver problems that I cannot fix).
Edit: I lied, thought of another one. Is there a way to pass 3D tasks to the M275X and 2D to the iGPU (Intel HD4400)? I feel like this would be the most efficient way to use the hardware.
Thanks all, good luck to the rest.
