I did a flight to Anchorage the other day. Usually I'm at 14k feet but the weather was good enough to fly at 4k and do a little sight seeing.
The road to Anchorage
Tundra minus the snow.
Glaciers
Sheep Mountain
Tried to get a shot of some Dall sheep, hard to do when you are trying to not fly into the terrain.
Matanuska Glacier
I love this cliff. The striations are amazing.
Coming out the other side.
Wasilla
@DeusQain 's old stomping grounds.
Anchorage is up ahead
Elmendorf Airforce Base and Anchorage
Some cool airplanes

I can see my old house from there.

Seriously.
You have Wasilla lake, close to the left. Cottonwood creek links the two parts of the lake together.
Beyond that on the left is Lucile Lake.
Off to the right is a couple more lakes, and behind the wiper blade is an elementary school. I lived near-ish there.

I think this is the closest I will ever get to flying. I am so afraid of it. Anyway nice photos and I hope you had a good time flying.
I took a seaplane to Martha's Vineyard. The plane was full, I'm a big guy and the pilot had to balance the load. He sat me in the co-pilots seat. All the gauges and controls were just like my flight simulator.
Man... I wanted to grab that yoke so bad!
Flying is great, taking off is exhilarating, landing is terrifying. Every time.
