Currently running the Cyanogen 12-YNGITAS213 Android 5.0.2 version on my OnePlus One and this issues keeps popping up when I go to the messaging app and loose service for a moment which is driving me nuts. I have tried replacing the sim card, clearing the cache on the phone to no avail any other options?
By the way its the Chinese OnePlus One which I heard that this version and the international version is no different from each other and my carrier is Optus (Australia)
I cannot tell your specific problem, but I have done this to myself before when messing with ROMs and where certain apps are installed and their permissions. It could be that the version of Cyanogenmod you downloaded was a bad build, or at least has this bug.
An update would be the best way to fix it. Check in System under About Phone and System Update. See if it has an OTA update.
