Closed Headphones

I need a decent pair of closed headphones for quiet times. I rebuilt a pair of AKG 240s I had and I love them. I am a however a single Dad to two amazing boys who are getting old enough to complain about Dad’s music. I was wondering suggestions on decent closed headphones on the cheap. I trust you guys so all opinions welcome. I do have a pretty awesome cheap dac for all dem boosts. Thank you for those who may share knowledge.

What's your price point? Like under $100 ? Or under $200?

Also, what sound signature do you like? Bass-y, treble cannons, mids-for-days, et cetera?

Granted the tighter the budget the less options, but it doesn't hurt to try!

As two general suggestion I usebboth AKG 553 Pros and California Headphone Companies Silverados, both are very pleasing and relatively cheap. I am not an audiophile though so cannot offer in depth description, I just really like both of them.

I have the Audio Technica ATH-A900X headphones and love them. Many reviews praise the soundstage for being closed back headphones and I would have to agree, but many of those same reviews also say they are very light on the bass, I've found this to be mostly true, but with good amplification they can actually thump pretty good. All around great headphones and were only put on the shelf because I got some higher-end open-back Fostex cans on sale.
