I'm trying to plan out a new build using the enthoo evolv ITX. My plan was to put a MSI R9 390x but realized that might be an issue, since the gpu is 2.5 slots. Was wondering if anybody could confirm whether or not there is enough room for that other half a slot that the twin frozr V has.
Yes you might have issues. And if the GPU fit, it might be choked, which is even worse. I believe the Evolv was built for water cooling... so a large cooler wasn't really thought about.
lets do a google search
enthoo evolv ITX
Clearance ->
Graphic card : 330 mm (13 in)
CPU cooler : 200 mm (7.9 in)
Cable management :28 mm (1.1 in)
Radiator (Top) :
120mm formfactor: 74 mm (2.9 in)
140mm formfactor: 54 mm (2.1 in)
msi 390x
Card Dimension(mm)
277 x 129 x 51 , 277 mm long. should fit.
330 - 277 = 53 mm to spare.
He's not talking about that... he's talking about how thick the card is, there is no number for that that is related to the case. It's just guess work.
on msi site listed as a 2 slot card.
hmm might not work, that card in the pic is 43 mm width. the frozer is 53
my bad
maybe it'll fit if you can remove the bottom shroud or cut it.
Could always wait for the R9 Nano, that should do fine.
