Choosing the right monitor

I need a recomendation for a monitor that's about 22" or bigger.

SPECS: 1080p - 5ms or faster - around $150 will pay $180 if it's really worth it - perfer ASUS or Viewsonic -  it's for high res gaming - LED - not totaly sure what ips is but if you say something bc of ips could you give a brief discription of what ips is? -  can't think of anything else.

help is greatly apriciated!

look at the viewsonic vx2253 (22") thats a good monitor

GW2450HM, pretty much the best 24' Monitor in that price range.

IPS panels offer a high viewing angle degree up to 178 degrees in most cases. If viewing angle is not important, you can save some money by going the LED/LCD route. Look up some of the BenQ monitors you can find a decent 24" 60Hz monitors for about $150 or less. MLG use BenQ monitors in tournaments so if it's good enough for them then hell why not...
