Choosing between two builds 600-700 €

Hello, at the moment i have thought of assembling a system that i've researched. Now for 600 € ill be getting this :

Club 3D Radeon HD 7870XT jokerCard 220€

GIGABYTE GA-Z77P-D3 (rev. 1.1)

HGST HTS543232A7A384 320 GB 5200rpm

Corsair 4 GB DDR3-1600 Kit

Intel® Core™ i3-3220

Thermaltake SMART 630W

Sharkoon VS3-S chrome


However if i put in another 100€ i can ge an FX8350 and ASrock extreme 3. Now i know I3's are dating, and that future games will likely have high support for 6-8 cores. However this is not the case at the moment and i'd be saving money (anything i save goes towards future upgrades like a second 7870XT, or if i go with the i3 -towards an i7)


What should I do? People have been saying the FX8350 seems outperform the expensive intel CPU's in Crysis 3, due to having 8 cores. Is this true? And will this become a model for future games?

p.s. feel free to advise on selected hardware other then cpu and mobo aswell

You want a bigger harddrive mate. 320gb won't be enough for near anything and HGST == Hitachi == Worst harddrives made, please don't buy Hitachi. They are god awful.

Noted, going for a 1 TB, is Seagate ok?

Yes 1TB seagate is good. Using one of em in my builds atm, it's been good for 3 months now

what about the i3 v fx8350, which is the better move right now?
