Also is the 7950 worth the extra $50 dollars to get it or not?
Try a different vendor. Other people have found ATI cards with games bundles included.
You could always send newegg a ticket. Ask them to verify.
In that video, it was a clear performance result. I think Linus is a trustworthy source.
Do I think it is worth the extra $50?
If you're gaming at 1080p, absolutely. I mean, that card is great for larger resolutions, too.
But, if you grab demanding games like Crysis 3, it will do a much better job of managing that than most other cards.
I really do think it is value for money. If the GTX 780 wasn't on the market, I would have picked up a couple of 7950s.
Hrm........ Yes I'm might crossfire them. Or I could sli the gtx 760 and save about $100
Depends on your res. I think two high-end cards at 1080p is too much. Given the 60Hz (60FPS) limitation of most panels.
If you have a 120-144Hz, on the other hand, dual 760s could be a very good shout!
I would go with the 7950 for gaming, because the preformance in much better. On the other had if you do alot of editing with Adobe then the gtx 760 is the way to go because of cuda.
Im not sure if this will help you or not but I find it good to compare things side by side myself. But anyway have a look and see.
btw How good is the cooler on the msi 7950 model? If I get it do you think I would better results in terms of temperature difference from the ARCTIC Accelero Xtreme 7970 VGA Cooler. Which also fits the 7950.
The MSI cooler isn't that creat, but it looks gorgeous.
