Check my PC build please

Hey guys, I'm building my first gaming PC and was hoping that you could check it for me (bottlenecking, compatibility, etc)

Here's what I'm looking at:

Note: I removed a 250gb hard drive and a Pioneer DVD/CD Writer off my ancient desktop, so I plan on reusing them to save some money.

Thanks a lot in advance, I appreciate the help!

UPDATE - I've redone my build here: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/Nopm

The only thing I'm worried about is the processor. I've had some mixed reviews about the Phenom II 965 and the FX 4100, so what do you guys think? Thanks!

Eliminate the ssd and buy a better motherboard.

I can tell youre on a budget here, haha.

The build looks good. If you were planning on overclocking, you're not going to get much out of that board. The cheapest board you can get and still get a decent overclock on is the GA-970A-UD3 because it has an 8+2 power phase.

Your build looks solid, though. Mistmatched, but still solid. I feel like you're overspending on RAM, though. Maybe pick up this? - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820233144

Will match better, too.

And also the 64GB SSD's are a really bad route to go... They fill up VERY fast from personal experience and you're going to end up regretting it. As pig said, either eliminate it and spend the money elsewhere (like bumping up to a 6100 and a 970A-UD3) or simply saving extra money and buying a 120gb ssd instead. You won't regret it.

Thanks, I'll get rid of the SSD and buy a nicer one when I get the money. Also, is the 6100 better than the Phenom 965? I really appreciate the help.

Do not buy a fx 6100 >_< its slower than my old AMD Phenom II X4 965 ... ive only had a fx 6100 in my personal rig for about 3 weeks and its not staying much longer

Phenom windows score 7.4 i got it up to 7.7 with a over clock fx 6100 windows score 7.3 i got a 7.4 with a overclock not worth it at all if you whant better than the Phenom go to the fx 6300

WEI isn't exactly a legitimate benchmarking tool... lol

Id save up for a 6300 personally.
