I am building a new PC for illustration, I am looking to get an ASUS PA279Q (1440p) and want to use the full 10 bit color of the monitor without buying an overkill powerful gpu.
It also has to have DisplayPort (unless DVI supports 10-bit?)
I'm assuming that 10 bit output is only available in workstation graphics cards, so I am unsure on what to look for.
I do not care whether it is ATi/AMD or nVidia brand, as long as it isn't some super expensive mass of power an technical masculinity...
